Agency, Collective London commissioned director Tom King at Gas&Electric to produce a series of films for a brand partnership between Avis & Mercedes.
'Street Circuit Weekender' aims to inspire the viewer into experiencing the sights and wonders of one of Europe's most infamous and stunning street race circuits but also, do it in style - upgrading to the beautiful E Class Mercedes, before you hit the road!
Presented by TV and radio personality, Dan O'Connell, the film tracks an historical and breathtaking road race that took place from Nice to La Turbie in the South of France. Stunning locations and panoramic views provide the idyllic backdrop for Dan to tell us how Mercedes has had an integral role to play in forming the rich history of the race, while esteemed travel influencer Diana Miaus provides the cultural knowledge.
Tom said... "I was keen to bring a highly polished feel to the content" Adding.. "I wanted to direct Street Circuit Weekender in such a way as to maintain the prestige synonymous with Mercedes. So it was as important to have high production values and finesse but, equally I wanted the film to be visually rich so that the viewer feels compelled to check out the route for themselves"
